Who we are
Dragonfly Kids has applied for designation as a J-1 visa sponsor in the camp counselor category.
Dragonfly Kids, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing cross-cultural understanding and strengthening global ties through cultural exchange programming. We aim to advance U.S. foreign policy priorities by fostering public diplomacy and international partnerships. The program helps build bridges between the people of the United States and nations around the world through the interchange of ideas, skills, and experiences in an American camp environment.
At the heart of this initiative is the belief that when international camp counselors, local camp staff, and youth campers from diverse backgrounds engage in day-to-day cultural exchange, lasting relationships are formed. These interactions, grounded in mutual respect and shared experiences, create an environment where future leaders can cultivate deeper understanding and cooperation—crucial to addressing the global challenges we face today. By providing a platform for meaningful cross-cultural dialogue, Dragonfly’s Camp Counselor program directly contributes to shaping future ambassadors who will serve as conduits for diplomatic engagement, global security, and international goodwill.
By integrating cultural traditions, music, language, and cuisine into camp life, we celebrate diversity in ways that are fun, educational, and memorable. Dragonfly Kids is more than a cultural exchange, it’s a launching pad for lifelong friendships, career growth, and global collaboration.
